Meet Our Amazing Team

Doctors

MEET DR. AIMEE HU, DDS

Dr. Aimee Hu absolutely LOVES the opportunity to work with children of all ages! Oral education is extremely important to her, as well as improving a patient's overall health. The most paramount matter however, is that everyone has an enjoyable experience at the dentist!
Dr. Hu attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota where she majored in both Biology and Spanish. She worked as a high school biology teacher for two years before attending the University of Minnesota Dental School, graduating in 2006. Dr. Hu is a general dentist with broad experience, including eleven years of working with homeless veterans at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she provided oral surgery and prosthodontic services, and five plus years of working at pediatric offices, which is where her passion lies.

Outside of work Dr. Hu spends much of her time volunteering in dentistry and neuroscience research. She has provided free dental care at community clinics and Georgia Dental Associations Oral Health Missions of Mercy. A highlight for her was getting to volunteer as a dentist in rural areas of Peru, while teaching eighteen college students from St. Olaf College. Over the past 14 years, Dr. Hu's volunteer research activities also led her to develop academic-community relationships between researchers, People with Dementia, patient advocacy groups, and charities in US, Europe, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Kenya and Namibia.

Dr. Hu has professional memberships with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Hinman Dental Society, Dawson Academy, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Affiliate Member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and is an Invisalign Provider.

Dr. Hu loves traveling, hiking and downhill skiing! She is married to her amazing husband, a neuroscientist William Hu, MD, PhD, FAAN. They have two energetic sons and a Labradoodle!

MEET DR. MERYL BAURMASH, DDS

I find it incredibly gratifying to make positive changes in someone's smile.
It is also wonderful to observe the increased confidence and self-esteem that a healthy, beautiful smile can foster.
I value the relationships that often develop through the course of treatment and feel privileged to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life.

Together we can embark on our orthodontic journey creating your Smile for a Lifetime.
As an orthodontist, I believe it is essential for me to constantly continue my education. This enables me to offer my patients the most advanced treatment options and the highest quality care. Part of my continuing education is my appointment as a Clinical Instructor at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine, in the Department of Orthodontics, for over 15 years. The interaction between students, other faculty members and myself has given me the opportunity to learn the most cutting edge techniques. In addition, I am a Member in the American Association of Orthodontists, The Mid-Atlantic Society, American Dental Association, The Tri-County Dental Society, and the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists.
